It’s suspected that Sony’s PlayStation 4 will not have a new processor but just the same one used in PlayStation 3.

Could this mean that Sony is looking for new approaches to gaming instead of continuing on with the performance war? Could be. Since I’m not a biased fan of either the PS3 or the Xbox 360, it’s safe to say that this could mean bad or good. Although I would prefer better graphics and such.

PC Watch has also reported that Sony won’t be designing a new Cell processor. Well, only time will tell, because by the time PS4 comes out in, apparently 2010, other consoles may be at a higher a level, not to mention the growing resource-demand of new games.

EA Games’ president Frank Gibeau announced that Spore officially became a huge hit. He said,

Will Wright’s latest delivers an incredibly diverse game that appeals to casual gamers and the core alike. We’re off to a great start moving into the holiday season and believe Spore will deliver a platform of creativity for gamers of all stripes for years to come.

You may ask, ‘but how come it’s such a hit after just a couple of weeks after release?’ Well, the answer to that is because Spore hit sales of more than 1 million and there have been contributions of more than 25 million creatures. Incredible!

I haven’t personally played the game, but I was among those who watched the first few hour-long game play videos whilst the game was under development. The game simply astounds you with the amount of flexibility it gives you. Thus, I must say that although these huge sales figures are surprising, they were still very much expected!

It’s lightweight, it’s fast (0-60 in just 4.5s), it’s got an Acura RSX engine and a mileage of more than 35 miles per gallon, and most of all, it’s hand built at home.

Feast your eyes on the Z59, a remake of the Ariel Atom, but just as incredible. Everything in the car is made by hand from recycled parts and objects, including the engine (which was revived from a busted car). Another example is the fact that the dashboard and panels are all made from appliances.

This car is certainly a stunner. Completed after more than 15 months and more than 800 hours of hard work, the result is something which is out of the world, and all the effort was worth it. I’m sure it can do well, giving you close to 140mph. I love it, and so does the builder. This is certainly on my wish list!

The 2008 Mondial de l’Automobile de Paris is approaching soon and manufacturers are getting ready to reveal their latest eye-candies. The one to look out for is the one manufacturer, who never fails to deliver an unique and exquisite style every time, Lamborghini.

Yes, the super car manufacturer is about to release its newest in the line of super bulls. But to make sure we’re there, they have released a few teasing photos of the vehicle. Although still exterior shots, we can pretty much make out that the car will be a front-engined model, as the picture with the front wheel shows a vent. The other image includes a shot of the lower rear bumper and what seem to be very stylish, hexagonal exhausts.

This new design with a possible front engine surely intrigues and interests me. Heck, even the rim interests me! Just like the Reventon, I’m sure it’ll turn heads and simply steal the show. I can’t wait for this one to be unveiled!

The Wrath of the Lich King is very near and getting ready for the huge World of Warcraft patch 3.0.2. This patch was announced the previous month and has been uploaded on Blizzard’s Public Test Server.

Here’s a question. Ever wanted to change your character’s hair style? Sounds pretty weird, but this patch has exactly that feature. Not only this, but there are new areas, such as brand new Arenas, and Stormwind City will now receive a new harbour. There are now brand new talent branches/tress for each class.

I certainly can’t wait for Wrath of the Lich King, the colossal game getting even better. Heck, I’d love to fashion my avatar in an Elvis-hair style!

Hey GTA mates, GA IV’s recommended system requirements have been revealed in the Games for Windows website. Although unfortunately, there is still no news of the minimum requirements.

- Windows XP SP2
- Dual Core Processor (Pentium D or better)
- 18GB free hard disk space (OMG)
- 2GB RAM
- 512 MB Direct 3D Video Card (DX 10 compatible or DX9 compatible with Shader)
- And finally, a Dual-layer DVD-ROM drive

These are pretty demanding requirements, especially for a guy like me who has a 1GB RAM stick and just 4GB free, heh. But for those of you who have such a computer, then have fun! I better upgrade soon.

The Paris Motor Show is about to kick off and we’re seeing some pretty neat designs. This here is Mercedes’ concept of a station wagon (no specification of which class yet), although it’s called “Fascination”.

From the inside, it’s got a powerful 2.2L, 4-cylinder, 201hp diesel engine with massive 369 lb-ft of torque. This new engine will make its first run in the new C250 CDI “BlueEFFICIENCY Prime Edition” model.

Exterior-wise, it disappoints me. I liked the new C-class front and rear styling but this one just isn’t good. The front end of this car is ugly; first thing in my mind when I saw it was someone converging their eyes. The rear is pretty much alright. But, the styling from the sides is very aerodynamic and cool, with sharp, muscular lines. Of course, this is still a concept, so it can (hopefully) still be revised before the big show.

Rise warriors, because you can now grab the demo for the Xbox Live of Mercenaries 2. And if you’re unsatisfied with the Xbox Live version, then wait a while because the PlayStation Store will also soon (in about a week) get the demo too! If you ask me, I think this is a great deal of a great game. I don’t mind either platform; the game will still be great.

Ssangyong have been around in the car industry for some time and have been manufacturing good cars. For this year’s Paris Motor Show, they’ve presented us with a 175hp, 6-speed automatic transmission, 2.0L 4-cylinder engine crossover concept - the C200.

Although it looks very much like a Saab from the front, it’s still a very good looker. I won’t even mind if it isn’t given a face-lift or make over, since it still has quite a lot of originality put into it. Besides that, the performance is not bad at all, with power from the engine to all four wheels. Definitely one to keep tabs on; it really interests me.
